This study for the expansion of the ABC Mall in Santo André, São Paulo, adds a lifestyle zone to the development with leisure-oriented retail, cinemas, food outlets, book megastores and a central outdoor space. A new drop-off serving both the old and new buildings leads visitors into the complex. The four-storey extension building surrounds the open garden courtyard leading shoppers through a retail loop back into the main corridor.
