This lifestyle shopping mall is located at the fringe of a high-rise residential development and serves the residents of a high-end suburb of Shanghai built around an artificial lake. Originating at the lake, a canal waterfront system of pedestrian-friendly walkways culminates on the location of the project. The design is driven by the integration between indoor and outdoor spaces where the retail experience extends itself from the main building onto sunken squares, pavilion restaurants, and the landscaped waterfront featuring seating and meeting areas, shading canopies and signage towers.
